Long Granny Autumnal Scarf
At the beginning of autumn it feels appropriate to have a fresh scarf. I actually made the pattern for this myself and it's far more coherent than my normal crochet notes. I used ~200g of Stylecraft's chunky fusion yarn for this with a 6.0mm hook.

INITIAL GRANNY SQUARE
Start with a magic circle or 4ch joined to main a ring
Row 1: ch2 (=1dc) [2dc, ch1]x3, join with sl
Row 2: sl to corner, [3dc, ch1, 3dc] in each corner, join with sl
Row 3: sl to corner, [3dc, ch1, 3dc] in corner, 3dc in gap between clusters, repeat around square, join with sl
Row 4: sl to corner, [3dc, ch1, 3dc] in corner, 3dc x 2 in gaps between clusters, repeat around square, join with sl
SCARF TIME
Row 5: sl to corner, turn, ch3, 3dc in next 3 spaces, [3dc, ch1, 3dc] in corner (this is now the point of your scarf), 3dc in next 3 spaces, dc in final space
Row 6: turn, ch3, 3dc in next 3 spaces, [3dc, ch1, 3dc] in point, 3dc in next 3 spaces, dc in final space
Rows 7-X: repeat row 6 until your scarf is at your desired length.
Row Y: sc around the entire edge with 3sc in each ch3 space
