Sarcoming out of my cage

I’m Suzy, a 30 something Seed Analyst in Lincolnshire. I got diagnosed with a liposarcoma in November 2024 which really put a dampener on my mid thirties. I want to write about my experiences regularly both as a type of lyrical therapy for myself and so if anyone googles “sarcoma” they might find someone else.

Whilst this blog is —first and foremost— a place to explore my thoughts and feelings on my sarcoma as well as my experiences as someone going through the treatment and healing process I've also found it valuable to being writing regularly outside of the poetry space. I intend to insert a few interludes every now and then when an opinion gremlin escapes the back of my mind.
